- I had very similar problems to yourself when I first started (although, when I
- first started I was using AmiTCP 3). The snoopdos report is almost identical
- to the one that you got. I solved the problem by using an alternative
- serial.device.

- What modem are you using. I'm using a Pace Linnet and the original
- serial.device does doesn't seem to like it. I use 8n1.device even though the
- author of PPP recommends that you don't use it. So far it's the only device
- driver that's worked for me. I might try baudbandit soon but for now my setup
- is working and as the saying goes. If it ain't broke...don't fix it.
